Deepika cannot see Ranbir-Katrina together

Recently, Rishi Kapoor is shooting with Deepika Padukone for his film 'Love Aaj Kal'. While shooting, for fun he says, "I'm shooting with my Bahurani".

Mumbai massacre leaves Bollywood stars numbed, outraged

Mumbai, There is a sense of shock, dismay and outrage among members of the film fraternity following the bloody terror strikes in Mumbai, India's entertainment and commercial capital. Though most of the stars have returned to work, they are not at ease as images of the massacre continue to haunt them.
Film shooting was sporadic Saturday, the day the terrorists who had held the city to ransom for almost 61 hours were flushed out. Bipasha Basu shot for a song with Ahmed Khan and Leena Bajaj shot with Amitabh Bachchan for "Teen Patti". Otherwise, all was quiet on the shooting front.US-based Indian filmmaker Mira Nair, who paid a tribute to the city with "Salaam Bombay", is unable to talk about it."I've no words at this moment. I pray for equanimity to prevail and that we don't give in to hysteria," Nair told IANS.Mira has stayed at the devastated Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel, one of the three buildings the terrorists had seized, on her frequent visits to Mumbai.The attacks in Mumbai saw armed gunmen targetting 10 locations across the city, including two five-star hotels. The strikes that lasted three nights and two days, claimed at least 183 lives and left 239 injured.Naseeruddin Shah echoed Mira's sentiments and said: "What's the point in spouting clichés? Let's leave that to the politicians. My reaction of outrage and helplessness is no different from that of any sane person."Sushmita Sen, too, is wounded by the attack on Mumbai."The last couple of days have left me deeply hurt and angered. What's happening to our administration? We now see a basic disregard for human life. I've been praying constantly for all our children's future," said Sushmita.Preity Zinta, who returned from Dubai to a shell-shocked Mumbai, still can't believe what happened."I was stranded at the Dubai airport on Wednesday night. Even when it's re-opened, would we feel comfortable with the heavy security personnel and the memories of the violence?" Preity wondered.A majority of the Bollywood stars were in no mood to resume work, although the city seemed ready to bounce back.Said Suniel Shetty: "The city is in a state of shock. I'm getting to know gradually that I've lost friends in the attack whom I've known for years. This time it's not like other times. My family and I live quite close to both the Taj and Oberoi (Trident Hotel). We saw smoke and fire billowing out of these places where we've spent so many evenings."Suniel shot on Thursday for Priyadarshan's "De Dana Dan", but stayed home on Friday.Harman Baweja cancelled his shooting because he says he felt "angered and disillusioned".Sonu Sood cancelled his shooting in Hyderbad and said: "I've been under too much stress in the last four days. Ashish's mother and his sister's mother-in-law were inconsolably shattered. Katrina knows Salman’s weakness

Only a nearest and dearest one can know his or her weakness. Though Bollywood hunk Salman Khan pretends to be very strong and bold, he too falls weak in many circumstances and who can know his weakness in a better way other than his beau, Katrina Kaif. Speaking to a tabloid, Katrina revealed her beau’s biggest weakness. "He (Salman) likes to act tough but it is so easy to win him over. Anyone who wants to get close to him only has to act defenseless, play the underdog and say, 'I have no friends and no one loves me.' Bas, Salman will adopt that person," Katrina is quoted as saying.Even if the world thinks that Salman Khan is a bad boy who always indulges in fighting, filmmaker Subhash Ghai does not think so. Katrina Kaif has had a hot year with the hits Race and Singh is King, and the recently released Yuvraaj, and she’s finishing the year being the cover girl for the December edition of Vogue. The cover shows her in an eye-catching purple silk dress, dropped off one shoulder and complemented by drop ear-rings from Bulgari. Priya Tanna, the editor of Vogue India says, "The mood of the month is celebratory and Katrina embodies it best right now. A winning combination of stunning good looks and box office success, she has truly been the surprise hit of 08 and we caught her in a jubilant and vivacious mood in New York."

Katrina’s upcoming movies include an item number in Billoo Barber, Akab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and of course New York. She also appears in Akshay Kumar’s Blue, probably the most expensive underwater Bollywood movie ever made.

Katrina is feeling homesick at the moment, as she’s been working on New York for over two months. She’s hoping that the family will be able to get together over Christmas. "My professional commitments keep me busy, but I'm feeling homesick,” she explains, “I miss my family a lot. I miss my home. I am trying my best to see if we can all be together at Christmas. On Subhash Ghai

Subhashji was the first director I met when I came down here. I am a big fan of his movies. Music is one of the most important things in Hindi films, the first thing is the script In Subhashji's films, like Taal, the music does not come in out, like it cuts and the story starts again. His music runs seamlessly with the story, it entirely supports the story. I think that is a style which is very unique to him He and Rahman Saab have worked incredibly hard on the music. Whenever Subhashji was not working on the movie, he was in Chennai for the music. The music of Yuvvraaj will stay with you. My favourite song is Tu Muskura because it has a magical, ethereal quality; I heard it five times continuously. It has taken a lot out of Subhashji to make this movie, so much tension and hard work.

On her look in the film

Subhashji is known to present his heroines differently. In this film, the styling is very different, costumes are larger than life and elegant the hairstyle is and classic. I trusted Subhash ji's guidance. If I would change anything about my clothes or hair, he would catch me instantly and send me back to my van, 'Go make your hair the way I've told you to!' He is consistent like that and knows what he wants. I hope people like my look in the film.
On having to play the cello

When I first started playing the cello, it was fun but then I'd go on and on and it sounded quite bad so people asked me to stop. I think cinema is a visual medium so it was important for me to get the posture and body language right and match it with the orchestra that was playing behind me. There were two gentlemen in the orchestra who kept guiding me which was great. Now all the chords look correct but if you have to hear me, that is another question. (Laughs)

On working with Salman Khan

It was terrible, it was torturous. I mean everyday…it was fine, yaar. (Laughs) I mean I never get that question 'how was the experience of working with Salman?' I never get it! (Laughs) It was like any other movie, like working with Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan or Bobby Deol. I like to think all of us are professionals. He is very spontaneous as an actor; he is good at his job. Film-making seems very glamorous but actually it is just a job. You have to wake up at seven in the morning, get ready and report on the set at 9 or 10. So it is not all that exciting.
On her favourite co-star

I think Salman Khan said in one of his interviews that Preity Zinta is his favourite co-star so I would say Akshay Kumar. And it's not just because he said it but because sometimes it is just the way it is. There is a certain thing that comes across on the screen. As far as newcomers are concerned, I think Ranbir Kapoor is very talented. I saw Bachna Ae Haseeno and thought he was extremely confident and I enjoyed the film. I am doing a Rajkumar Santoshi film with him and he is very uninhibited. I don't know why now but you just said take a name (laughs)

On her expectations from Yuvvraaj

The scenes which I have seen with Yuvvraaj are of Salman and me. I only had one concern as to how it came across on screen because you cannot judge what you shoot. I was happy because I thought something looked effortless and spontaneous so I hope the audience agrees. I am not a great judge of the future, if I would be then I would be an in demand person and people would come to me to predict the fate of their films. Salman has done a fantastic job in the movie, Anil Kapoor has given a tremendous performance and we have the music supporting us so I want this film to be a super hit. Katrina Kaif Upset With Salman Atrraction With NRI Model

Reportedly, Katrina Kaif is peeved at her man these days. Salman Khan has been digs at his NRI girlfriend at every public event they have been together. Katrina has been seen giggling awkwardly as Salman jokes about her poor Hindi. Either that or he snubs her all of a sudden for no fault of her own. 'Khiladi' Akshay Kumar is desperately seeking Katrina Kaif

Spicezee Bureau Mumbai, Nov 25: Call it superstition or lady luck, but Akshay Kumar is desperately seeking Katrina in all his films. The uber hit onscreenjodi that have been touted ‘King and Queen’ at the Box Office this year are in no mood to part ways, for the man in this filmy relationship is exploring all ways to rope in the long legged lass in all his ventures. Then even if that means the ‘Kinng’ will have to twist a few things or two, the actor doesn’t seem to mind it at all. 

Ever since his ‘Singh Is Kinng’ days, filmmakers have been forming ques to cast the dishy actor. While Akki has been giving his nod to more or less all projects, he is making sure he lays down his terms loud and clear. And leading the actors wish list is hottie naughty Katrina Kaif. 

According to a news daily, Akki is pushing filmmakers to rope in Katrina. The actor who will next be seen opposite Deepika Padukone in ‘Chandni Chowk To China’ apparently is not to keen to share screen space with other B-town chicks. 

Looks like Akshay has fallen head over heels for Kat, and guess what? Our angry ‘old’ man Salman does not seem to mind this at all. The actor has reportedly gotten used to the Akki- Kat chemistry (onscreen ofcourse) and is all supportive of Katrina romancing the ‘Kinng’ not King for that is a title bagged by SRK. 

For now the couple will once again be back together in 'De Dhana Dhan' – a Priyadarshan film. And going by the industry buzz, Katrina will be indeed the lucky lady to play the lead role in Akki’s first home production.

A new gal on Salman’s arm

As we all know Katrina Kaif played Salman’s love interest in Yuvraaj but the serene beauty was missing from the promotional event and rather another new babe was seen on his arm. She is his new heroine Zarine Khan who resemblance very much like Katrina Kaif. Kat was away from the event as she was busy shooting for Raj Kumar Santoshi’s film at Yash Raj Studios till late that evening.

Any new entrant is usually kept hidden from media but Salman has showcases Zarine to all present during the event to get their feedback as does she look like Katrina. A source said, "Salman had an exclusive trial for close family and friends at Globus on Thursday night. Salman introduced Zarine to everyone present, but he also kept asking them if she looked like Katrina. The two seemed very comfortable with each other.” 

Zarine Khan will play his leading lady in his next flick Veer. Present on the occasion were most of Sallu’s family members, including Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan, Arpita Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Tulip Joshi, Bhushan Kumar and wife Divya, Rocky S, Anil Sharma, Sneha Ullal, Sajid Nadiadwala, Sophie Chowdery, Manish Goswami and his wife and Adnan Sami.

Katrina Kaif’s Intimacy With Salman

After winning hearts for Race and Singh Is Kinng, Katrina Kaif is looking forward to Yuvraaj which is ready to hit the marquee. She is partly optimistic and partly nervous about Yuvraaj and as for the first time she is deeply involve in intimate scene with beau Salman Khan.
