>> Thursday, April 2, 2009

Katrina Kaif is helping her Suzanne (her mum)to the largest extent she can to set up a home for orphanage girls in Chennai. Katrina says that her mum is speaking to the state authorities to get the permissions as soon as possible.
Katrina said that, "mum is also connected with Home Reach i.e in Madurai that houses orphaned girls". Both the mother and daughter are totally involved in this project. Katrina says that her mum is working actively and continuously to figure out what governmental procedures needs to be taken of to start this orphanage home. She further added, this is one of my dreams but it requires lots of efforts because if the girls are below 18yrs, special care needs to be taken of them till they turn 18. This requires lots of support and care.
Now coming ahead, where her work is concerned she is been asked if she is insecure about the competition from the other top actresses like Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra ? Katrina says that she is just very happy that she has reached at this stage without knowing anyone from the Indian industry. She said, being insecure is a better way to reach your goal since it will always remind you that someone is ahead of you and you have to beat that person. She further added, that she isn't very keen to be one of the top actresses in the industry but she is very happy that she is doing good films with big banners.
